The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is alarmed with regards to the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area each day. The support stage produced for intervention experiences a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service here point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
